Mixed Martial Arts Evening Monday 29th June 2009 by Laura Shefferd Children from around Hedge End took part in a mixed martial arts evening. We did floor techniques and how to get off of the floor if someone is on you. We got to show how hard we could hit the punch bags which was very hard. It was fun because we had brown belts there to make it a challenge. Overall it was fantastic thanks for organising it.

Freegrounds Junior school club train every Wednesday in the school hall Children are welcome from all year groups. This club is for Freegrounds pupils only.

Berrywood Club This club trains every Monday afternoon at Berrywood school, Maunsel Way ,Hedge End. It is open to children of all infant and junior school age groups, you do not have to be a pupil of Berrywood school to attend this club. Infants/ juniors 3.15pm - 4.30pm
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hedge End Monday Club This club trains every Monday evening 6pm - 7pm, Hedge End Village Hall, St Johns road ,Hedge End. This club is for children years 5 and 6 junior school age, and year 7 and above secondary school age. The class is split into two groups years 5 and 6 in one group year 7 and above in the other. Each group is taught by an experienced black belt instructor.

Sensei Nick Burr Course held at Hedge End Dojo 16th March 2008 Great fun but learning important self defence skills.
